"It's still hard to believe that I was crowned only a week ago! This is all a dream and I think it always will be; but I don't ever want to wake up because this is the most amazing dream, EVER! I still relive the day of the pageant in my head, a lot! All of the memories, the laughter, the jokes, the mess-ups, and the amazing girls I shared the day with are very hard to forget! From the moment I met each of the girls I knew that whoever walked away that night with the Miss MN OT crown, they would represent the Miss Minnesota Outstanding Teen organization incredibly both at the national competition but also here, in our wonderful state. Every girl had the characteristics of a state title holder, and I'm honored that I was picked for this job! I walked away that night with the title of Miss Minnesota's Outstanding Teen, I also was honored with the talent award, the personal interview award, and the spirit award which was voted on by my fellow contestants! It was truly a blessing! Congratulations to all of the girls who competed! I'm so proud of each and every one of you! Congrats to my 1st and 2nd runners up, Alyssa Mitzel and Kathryn Rose Kueppers, both are absolutely outstanding! Thank you to everyone who came out to support me! A special thanks to the Walczak family, the Schneider family, the Algyer family, the Wests', the Sextons, the Wachholz family, my South Central committee(: and of course my own family- The Swiggums'! I'm very excited to see where my year is headed!
