On Saturday it was the famous "Show us your shoe parade"! For the first time ever the outstanding teens were able to participate! Half of us rode in rolling chairs while the other half (and I) rode on a float! We did chants, we danced, we sang! It was so much fun!!!!! We then got to perform our MAOTeen fitness routine on national television!!!! OMG! It was so much fun!
Alright now Sunday! The final night of Miss America 2014 I got to sit right by the stage. I could practically touch Chris, the host, but that'd be weird. The first two times Rebecca was called last; and i'm pretty sure i almost had about 15 heart attacks throughout the entire night. I'm so proud of my big sister Rebecca! The first time in years that Minnesota has done that well. I knew she could do it! I love you Rebecca and i'm so proud! The rest of the competition was me blowing up face book with an update every minute! I'm sure none of you were annoyed at all! ;)
Congratulations to the new Miss America 2014, Nina Davuluri, the former Miss New York! and a special congratulations to our own, Miss Minnesota Rebecca Yeh for becoming Miss America's 4th runner up! Ah!
